Registered Dietitian

Nutrition Unlimited is looking for an outpatient Registered Dietitian to cover corporate locations in the PA, NJ, and Delaware area and for virtual coverage. RDs at Nutrition Unlimited provide one on one nutrition counseling and diabetes education along with nutrition workshops and a diabetes program in group settings at different sites. The selected candidate is expected to work at more than one location, with a variety of different clients, and preferentially is credentialed as a CDE or is working toward.

Applying candidates should:

  1. Be an outpatient Registered Dietitian with experience.
  2. Be responsible for his/her own client base. Maintain MNT records; do insurance billing & MNT reporting; drive marketing.
  3. Be able to work with and counsel, patients with diabetes, work with women’s health, GI disorders, autoimmune sensitivities, and more.
  4. Participate in marketing events and health fairs
  5. Have experience and be flexible with EMR charting, nutrition informatics, and the nutrition care process.
  6. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with clients and a diverse staff.
  7. Show good communication and customer service skills.
  8. Have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, work well independently and work with a team of dietitians.

Nutrition Intern

Nutrition Unlimited is seeking nutrition student interns. The intern position at Nutrition Unlimited requires an individual who is flexible to work in the office doing administrative duties, as well as assist with marketing at health fairs throughout the city representing the practice, contributing to our blog and assisting with creating nutrition presentations and much more. The selected candidate is expected to work multiple days a week, make a long term commitment (1-2 years), and communicate well with clients, potential clients, and the other RDs. Must also have experience with social media.

Applying candidates should:

  1. Have an interest in entering the health care and/or nutrition and dietetics field.
  2. Be responsible for his/her time and commitment schedule.
  3. Do insurance billing, appointment scheduling, answering phones, and other administrative duties; must be a quick learner.
  4. Participate in community events and health fairs.
  5. Learn EMR charting.
  6. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with the community and a diverse staff.
  7. Show good communication and customer service skills.
  8. Have excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, work well independently and work with a team of dietitians.
  9. Have knowledge of researching journal publications and reporting on a given topic.
  10. Be able to describe what a RD does.
  11. Have knowledge of social media sites (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
